Byker Grove
Is a 30 minutes episode and its Children's Drama. The episode opens with a narrative explaining what the episode is about and is linked from one scene to another introducing new charatcers. After tyhe scene the titles and the music comes on.
Mainly children are the characters and its set in day time which suggests its for children.
The title at the bottom of the page tells a bit of the story so the audience can understand it more clearly.
Through the first few minutes of the episode there is a chinese music which sets the atmosphere and linkes with the picture. The digetic sound is used to explain the scnene even more. The mise en scene shows that we notice straight away its for kids also the sounds are quite gentle and more of a children's type. At the beging of the episode a girl introduces her self stating her age and explains what her movie will be about wqhich doesnt nessesarly represent tyhe episode's narrative.

White girl
It a TV drama or a one of film shown on bbc 2. Opens up with a close up of a girl's bike she is riding it. Along with it there is a piano music played in the background. The film is set in England, cancil state and it represents working class people. The mise en scene represents the area as poor and its shown through the characters clothing. The characters swearing suggests they are low class some sort of chavs.
Visual lang shows the situation of the familly who are running away from tghe dad who is perhaps alcoholic or violent. They are scared of him.
Half way into the scene the music comes along with the picture which suggests freedom when the familly manages to run away and they drive off. The next scene shows the area the familly is moving into which also is poor because of the houses and the characters - tyhe way they were dressed. eg: small girl not wearing any trousers , rabish on the street. the music suggests its an area where muslim people are leaving. From the start the audience get a negative impression because of the setting.

The bill
Its also a TV Drama episode because of showing the audience what happend previously. Unlike other Dramas there is one story shown and how the characters are trying to deal with it. Verbal lang tells us what is going on exaclty. Written text is shown. Verbal lang and the visual lets the audience to understand the story in more details and more clearly.
